I am the host and creator of the Methodology Patterns website. The motivation for creating this website is based upon a frustration with current software development methodologies and their fundamental inflexibility and lack of breadth.

In addition to this website, I'm also the creator of the iScreen open source project. iScreen is a Java-based Object Validation Framework. It's located at i-screen.org.

My personal blog, which doesn't get updated often, is located at dshellman.blogspot.com.

My background is primarily as a Java developer and architect, though, currently, I'm more of a technical manager. I have over a decade of experience in the computer industry.
